Be prepared to ask others for time often

I think people who have done this don't keep time because they can't keep track of time AT ALL. body, arms are not too tight. They all lose more than half an hour a day.

Smooth and quiet. Exact time.

Clock Mechanism for updating old clock frames. I've already done 3-4. I always have to fit new movements to old frames because their sizes are not standardized, but I make them work. In terms of controls, movements are smooth and quiet. So far it's going great.

Pros
  • Easy Installation

Interesting new hobby

I have made several battery operated clocks using an antique dinner plate I found in antique stores. I find a task rewarding when done but difficult to create. I bought several watchmaking kits from local hobby shops and found them to be of inferior quality. A purchase I made through Revain offered a sturdier kit and my attempts were more successful.

  • Good product for the price

Exact replacement.

A few years ago I bought a beautiful decorative battery powered mantel clock. Served 8 years, then completely worn out. I've looked for replacement mechanisms from Michaels and AC Moore, but to no avail. I found this mechanism on Revain, which is distributed by Lily Glory. Exactly the same product, same model number, same barrel colour. The transformation was easy and it was an exact match. I reused the original hands for simplicity. The item was shipped quickly and I received it on time.

Enhance your loud quartz wall clock with this little decoration.

I had an old watch, my wife wanted it to work again, so after realizing that the mechanism no longer worked, I bought it from Revain. You have to take a lot of measurements to make sure it fits properly, but it's worth it. I installed it in less than 5 minutes, inserted the battery, and watched the seconds hand move beautifully in silence around the dial - a rarity for a quartz wall clock. Several checks over the course of the week compared to our atomic clock showed perfect accuracy. Good…

Good mechanics, strangely long hands

The mechanics correspond to the description, built neatly into the mantel clock. The operation is silent, does not tick, the progress of the second hand is smooth. If you need hands, pay attention to the hour hand measurement. It was too long for my watch and the fancy design makes it impossible to trim. (The seconds hand is simple and can be trimmed if needed.) I replaced the worn movement and machined the existing hands. Helpful Tip: Attach a 3 inch tape to the back of the device while…
