I bought this for my first grader - the criterion was a roll-up bag with a matching lunch box! (Books vs. packed lunches vs. odds and ends). The lunch bag is also large enough to add boxes with different labels. Excellent purchase!

Squeaky wheels and my daughter said it was annoying/embarrassing. It also doesn't seem big enough for a 7th grader who needs to carry all their books, a binder, and a Chromebook. The lunch box is roomy but slides sideways when trying to hook it by the handle. A normal water bottle is placed in the side pocket of the backpack.

What a disappointment! The backpack is a great color and has all the pockets you could want, but the straps broke after 3 days! My daughter went to school this Monday November 2nd and today November 6th the straps snapped. We can use the handle to turn around. The backpack came with an extra set of straps, suggesting the manufacturer is aware of the poor quality of the straps, but we won't risk them. My daughter was very upset and is now upset. I don't recommend if you want to use straps.

Apparently this was made for kids and small adults because the telescope's T-handle only has two notches. I noticed that the information on this item doesn't contain any Mention height restrictions when using with casters/telescopic handle.It has plenty of room for a laptop, books and other essentials.Two bottle or thermos holders, one to the left and one to the right of the backpack.I bought this to use as the ONLY laptop/ briefcase on wheels.
