The stubble is too long for me.

The bristles are too long, soft and coarse for my needs. I was hoping to use them when I have to be away from home.

Their unique design makes them ideal for screen printing.

Beautiful brushes with a unique curve. You can control the length of the brush's bristles by simply sliding the lipstick-like tube up or down. The shorter the bristles, the more concentrated the ink. I have found that the brush holds a lot more ink than the sponge applicator and you get a more precise application with the brush. I colored the rib on the tube like Tim suggests in one of his videos and now I have a brush for each color family. Holds up well when the lid is put back on - no mess…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick guide

Love this brush

I use this brush when I want my label or business card to look soft. It's easier for me to work with than with the substrate. The only difference is that it doesn't hold as much ink on the bristles as the block holds. I make 25 cards at a time, so coloring takes a little longer. I generally prefer the brush over the pad.

Not well done

I have no issues with the brushes themselves, but to be honest there are probably many other brushes out there that are better at applying ink. I bought 3 sets of these brushes and some of them completely fell apart when opened. I had to reglue the base with super glue and I hope they stay in place. crossed fingers

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons

Compact stencil brushes

These stencil brushes are nice and compact. Easy to use. Works well when applying dry and wet ink to dye, chalk and oxide inks. The only improvement I would suggest is that if you trim the bristol to get a more focused color range, the little ridge holding the case over the bristol is more pronounced to hold the case more securely.

  • Nice to use
