That works fine.

Installed this drive my way, not the instructions as excessive vibration during operation can break this drive in no time. It works fine.JJK

I wish I had changed it years ago

Working with this saw blade on my Powermatic 6 inch band saw with lifting block . It eats through wood easily, leaving a surprisingly smooth finish. Doesn't need much grinding. Highly recommended

Timber Wolf 3/8 " Bandsaw

I used this blade to cut large radius curves from 4/4 and up cut 8/. 4 oaks, plus 4/4 cherries. It cuts cleanly and requires very little cleaning. The tightest curve I carved with this blade was a 2" radius in 8/4 oak. Good cuts! The instructions that came with the disc call for tension without guides. I went through the procedure and it gave an accurate trace with 1/4" tension on the blade. This procedure is very difficult to perform so I marked the tension indicator on the saw so I don't have

Pros
  • Other blade specs: Width of cut .042; Tooth angle 6.5 degrees; Radius of cut 1 1/4"
Cons
  • Large and bulky
