Great product for heavy loads

My husband installed these in place of the airbag mount on our truck. It works well with our fifth wheel camper, but makes the truck too comb-like for our caravan. I feel a lot more shock with a lighter load.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Has flaws

It's good to have a skilled man!

I don't know what to say. My husband ordered it for our truck, installed it in one day and so far the truck is running πŸ˜‰ so far it's working fine! We carry a lot of building materials and this 'thing' helps a lot!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Good but not great

2500HD Silverado best in air suspension kits

Even with the weight distribution hitch I still had rear sag and they eliminated that and made the ride more stable/comfortable especially on long journeys. 1/2" clearance gives you a comfortable empty ride. Great when transporting cargo in a box or trailer. No more rear impact.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

I am very satisfied with this product and I highly recommend it.

Installation took less than half an hour. Really helps when transporting heavy loads. Now the truck stays much closer to level. The truck's initial ride when the platform is empty or without a trailer has not changed since the Timbren suspension system was installed. I am very satisfied with this product and I highly recommend it.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Little things

Good seller, quality product

Fantastic product that made my 2010 Chevy 2500 Duramax feel like nothing was there when towing a 42 foot fifth. Significantly more stability when turning while towing and the truck doesn't sag at all at the rear. The only thing I would recommend is not to install the shim that came with the kit if you only tow occasionally. The shim makes the ride very uncomfortable if you are NOT towing. For the best towing, add the spring setup I've ever used.

  • Free for educational purposes

For me the best solution.

I bought these to fit in an 02 Silverado that is only used for the slide in the RV I am putting in there. Since the truck will be stationary most of the time. Sometimes towing an 18 foot boat, sometimes a solo quad, sometimes towing nothing. I wanted something so the truck wouldn't sag and pull wildly different loads. But I didn't want to add or tweak another maintenance job every time. That is the solution. They went in very smoothly. Screw in and done.

Did not fit. Modifications required

Firstly the screws were not long enough to tighten the screws properly, washers had to be added. Installing without spacers, I had to jack up the truck 1/4" to get it in. So it sat on the axle. In effect, the truck turned into a hardtail. Since I was removing worn out airbags, I needed something. So I did cut it to length on a cut off saw. Now they are 1" over axle like they should be. Needless to say all of this made them a PITA royalty to set up. After all of this I sent the front ones back.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Only available in white

I highly recommend them, especially for those who pull heavier weights.

Highly recommend, especially for those driving a heavier 5 wheel motorhome. I bought a new 5th wheel that weighs 12600 lbs and my GMC Sierra 2500 squatted a lot before I put them on, it had a huge impact on tow ride. The ride without is pretty decent, you'll notice a slightly stiffer ride when navigating rough roads and speed bumps, but tolerable from my understanding. They were pretty easy to install too, only the small space to work with was the hardest part.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Easy to install and works great

I would recommend these if you are looking to upgrade your hitch. Installation took about an hour and a half. Once my trailer is hitched to my truck, it doesn't sit as hard as it used to. When decoupled, there is about 1 inch clearance between the timbres and the axis. When loaded, it sits far enough to make contact so any bumps in the road are a progressive spring load, not sudden, hard bumps. .I was arguing between theses and airbags, opting for them for the lower initial cost and the ease of
