A Great Non-Electronic Game for Kids

My kids are gamers. They are kids of gamers too. The struggle to find the balance with technology and screens vs. tactile and real life experiences is hard for parents, but this toy was a HIT with my kids. Ages 5-10, they all have enjoyed this game. We actually got two different kinds and they can link together to make one bigger puzzle. Huge hit for Christmas.

Pros
  • Fun and challenging for all skill levels
Cons
  • The game may lose appeal after a few repeat plays

They don't make the like they used to

I have one of these original versions from the 70s or 80s when it was called "run yourself ragged". My nephew loves playing it when he comes over so I thought I'd get him one. It's a very very cute game but the one I got doesn't work. The "bars section" doesn't work. You're supposed to open them slightly to get the ball rolling then close them so it doesn't fall through. But these never close. At the closed position. They're always slightly open. The perfect amount actually so that you don't have

Pros
  • Suitable for children of various ages
Cons
  • The game can become too predictable, reducing replay value

Not worth it for my opinion

Wasn’t good quality chain reaction. Not precise. Other similar things I have purchased have been fantastic That's my review.

Pros
  • Toys & Games
Cons
  • Can be noisy and disruptive during gameplay

Fun for my 6yo but cheaply made.

First order was delivered with a broken obstacle, missing marbles and timer. Replacement works fine and is my sons favorite toy at the moment. The tong feature doesn’t work right it just slides down without having to open it. I don’t think this toy has longevity potential but is doing a great job keeping my problem solving kid busy for the moment.

Pros
  • 2.4 pounds
Cons
  • The game requires a stable surface to play on, limiting where it can be played

Entertaining - my new review

Cute games for a younger audience, the water shooter game even held the attention of an older kid!I like the fact you can empty the water out when not in use that way it doesn't get moldy.

Pros
  • Aids in memory retention
Cons
  • May not be the best choice for competitive players who prefer to play against each other

Harder than it looks

It’s fun and my kids are really enjoying it. One of the ‘hit’ buttons keep getting caught like in the picture. I have to lift it up and pop it back into place. Kinda ruins the timer thing but other than that it’s fun. It’s a lot harder than it looks and my younger kids, 7 and 4, had some issues with it.

Pros
  • A New Take on a Classic Family Game: Screwball Scramble 2 dishes up all kinds of new challenges and is an add-on to the most popular game where players guide their marble through the labyrinth
Cons
  • The game may not be enjoyable for those who do not enjoy physical or hands-on activities

Cheap and missing parts out of the box

Cheap and missing pieces out of the box. Bought it and saved it for Christmas for my daughter. After opening it and putting it together all the pieces weren't even in the box. I messaged contact manufacturer here on Best Buy and heard nothing back. Guess I'm out the money as the return window is closed now.

Pros
  • So much fun looked awesome my boyfriend loved this gift
Cons
  • The timer can cause unnecessary stress during gameplay

Great memory toy on my review.

I had the original one when I was little. Now I got this one for my toddler son. I must say, it's not as sturdy as the original one I have had. But my son still likes it. I just have to make sure the little ball get put away so my baby girl can't have it in her hand unattended.

Pros
  • I had one of these as a kid and every year I get a nostalgia toy for my kids. This was an absolute hit!
Cons
  • Not a good solo game, requires multiple players for gameplay

Questionable good for me

Aside from other complaints about not being the quality or quite the same as the original I just had to have this game for my son after having played it as a kid and always wanting it but not owning one. My biggest complaint however is with quality control of this game. The sticker that shows which button or knob controls each obstacle is backwards. Its little things like that which can make a good product seem cheap and undesirable. Leaves you wonder how much care or thought went into making…

Pros
  • Easy to learn and play
Cons
  • The maze may not offer enough variety or levels to keep interest

low quality product

Clearly the production quality of the product is much lower than the original game.half of the stages dont work properly.

Pros
  • Almost exact game as the Run Yourself Rqgged game from the 1980’s made by Tomy. Great gift for all ages!
Cons
  • Game pieces can easily get lost or misplaced
