Very good value for money

This is excellent value for money. The scabbard doesn't match the blade very well, but it detaches easily and looks nice in the scabbard. I particularly like the closure because it fits perfectly and can be opened easily with just one finger. The blade comes out smooth. Skin is a little dry, but mink oil or leather treatment won't fix anything. The knife itself is of very high quality except for the bevel being uneven but that can be remedied by spending a few hours on a whetstone or if you…

Good knife for the money

I've had this knife for more than a month and I've been belt trekking with it several times. This is a very attractive knife with a wonderful balance that begs to be in it. Now I'm not a knife thrower, but given the weight and balance, I figured it would be best for me to "rocket" the knife right over your head like a baseball and then let go / and head for the target aim (not at the end). it just flies straight) Voila! The knife came out a bit sharp, but not what I would call razor sharp - it's easy enough to pinch. Although made in China, my knife has no country of

  • Discontinued Model

I consider myself a knife collector. I bought this Schrade - 162OT Old Timer Fixed Spear Blade Knife to add to my collection but I think I will use it for a truck knife. That means I'll keep it in my truck for use when fishing, in the wooded area around my home in southern Mississippi, and at the dock. I have to say that Shrade knives have been my favorite knife for the last 45 years since I bought my first Shrade folding pocket knife, the original Old Timer which I still own. I think of knives
