For a $20 Chinese boot knife, this is decent with one serious flaw. no gaps on mine, 7Cr17 steel (Chinese fake 440a), full face flat grind, not too thick behind the edge - still could do with a bit thinner IMO, nice shaped handle with no ridiculously large guards to interfere with wearing the boot; Shields, pins and name tag made of nickel silver.
