Incredible value for computers and accessories

I understand people are critical of this for not having the fastest speeds, but unless you're doing something that really requires the fastest drive I have to say this this is best value for money in m.2 form factor. I used it as extra storage for a beehive and will most likely be a second flash drive for my son's gaming laptop. The closest action is easily 50% more expensive.

  • Dope

Insane value, especially when buying 2!

Originally I was just going to buy one of these since my motherboard (Asus TUF Sabertooth X99) only has one NVME slot, but before I even finished checkout I looked up the prices for them 2TB SSD, and they average around $180-$200, and that's for SATA 3 2.5-inch models, NVME is almost double the price (of course, at the time of writing, they've been increasing from time to time Time for good lightning deals). So I went to my shopping cart and added a second and 110mm M.2 PCIE to 16X adapter…

Reliable performance at a very good price

Impressive product. Not the fastest, but for the price I paid ($69.99) it's a steal for a 960GB drive. Use it with a 110mm PCIE NVMe adapter on an old PCIE 2.0 motherboard. This drive is on my home server running some Windows VMs. VMs start up in less than 4 seconds. Installation: Phenom II X6 1045TECS 970M-A Deluxe32GB DDR3 1600 RAM

Great buy if your board supports 110mm long m.2 drives

1 month later update I'm still very happy with it, still fast and no regrets Crazy TBW durability! My 960GB drive shows up correctly as an 894GB drive, which is correct. also mostly achieves 2440 MB/s linear read in benchmarks with Aida64 hard drive benchmarks. I struggled to get the true 1700MB it advertises, but I found it works in some rare conditions, if you're lucky and the moon hits the water at the right angle. bla bla bla. perhaps another test application would be ideal. But it reads…

The second is just as good as the first

This is the only 110mm that isn't overly expensive Optane. Match well with MSI frozr motherboard for cooling. You get almost a full TB of storage for less than $100 and are twice as fast as comparable, more expensive SSDs. If you have a 2280 slot there are plenty of options, but if you are looking for a 22110 then look no further. Single parent of 4. I have to assemble one PC at a time myself due to cost and I have not used two of these storage solutions in MSI b550 per MoBo and not once had a…

Not so fast and a little thick

This is a longer industrial drive rated at 1700Mbps, closer to 1000. It is a little thick because there are features on both sides of the circuit board. To install it I had to remove the rubber bumper from the motherboard. Significantly longer than a standard 22110 length drive. Obviously I can't test the write endurance so time will tell if the numbers are correct given the actual tested read speed of 1000MB/s which is not good for a DRAM drive to play or rarely rebooted the system. I had a…

The best you can buy

I was looking for a cheap SSD to upgrade my father's old and very modest laptop (it has a Pentium N processor). The laptop was very slow and the best improvement you can make on this type of can is to put an SSD in it and wait for the results. I must say that the result is impressive (considering the hardware characteristics). It turns on in just ten seconds and performance is greatly improved. I have to admit that I looked to Revain for the cheapest SSD I could find, mainly because I wasn't…
