One bad, one good for bearings and axle shaft seals

I ordered two - one was tied up. Used the one that was ok and has been working fine for a few years. 2003 Odyssey. Others sent back - no problems with return.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Great item at Heavy Duty Axles & Parts

The part was delivered promptly and was exactly what I needed. As far as I know Timken bearings are the best out there. It takes years to figure out if this particular case is actually any good.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • don't remember

How to determine if you have a good wheel bearing. US NTN

I bought 2 of these from Revain, 1 has US on the outside label. The bearing on the hub itself is US and NTN printed, I stuck 3 fingers in and tried cranking the bearing, very hard and very smooth, just what you want to feel in a new bearing. However, the outside label of the other box had no US writing printed on it, and the camp itself had no obvious label that I could see. Also, the bearing turned very easily, it felt like it was loose. So my advice is, if you don't see USA on the outside…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Protection
