Timken. I expected better!

I thought maybe buying a Timken would be worth the extra cost. I do not think so! Replaced the right front wheel on a 2005 Saturn Vue. Good fit and easy installation. Now, 18 months and 45,000 miles later, it's time to do it again. I'm not sure I would have spent twice as much as the competition if it had taken that long. I later replaced the left side as well and it still runs smooth and quiet but is only 8 months and 15,000 miles old. The time will show.

Garbage after 54 weeks of minimal use - WARNING - 1 year warranty

You'll find that Revain doesn't list a manufacturer's warranty - just find out for yourself. Good luck finding warranty information on the Timken website. Guarantee is not a word in their language. You can find these in their conditions of sale. It is made available for 1 year. Moog product - almost same price - 3 years. Your call. Such a shame that zero stars is not an option.

One of the two only started to squeak after a few months.

Bought front left and right for my 2005 Chevy Equinox. I had them installed by a well known local shop at the same time as new sets of front struts and rear shock absorbers. The front left hub is OK. , but the right one only squeaks after a few months. And I don't actually travel that much. The bushes cannot go more than 600 miles. Timken is a quality product, but anyone can get a bad part from time to time. I just hope they honor the warranty as it's been less than a year. My next steps will…

Learned and Saved - Axle Bearings & Seals

I am very happy with the whole process I went through. My opinion on the hub itself is limited to being as described and a perfect fit for my 2006 Pontiac Torrent and now my SUV runs fine. But most of the satisfaction comes from the fact that I was able to do it for the first time with nothing but DIY skills. I'm not a mechanic. After a few manageable problems, I finished the work in peace. I watched a few YouTube videos and rented the tools I didn't have from Autozone for $90 and returned them
