So far, so good. at Heavy Duty & Commercial Vehicle Equipment

I bought my G35 cheap because it needed a wheel bearing and a few other things. This part has been on the car for 5,000 kilometers and no problems yet. Next time I brake, I'll check the play. The replacement is very easy as the G/Z front wheel bearing simply hangs on the steering knuckle. I was able to do it myself on the ground with hand tools and a jack.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Finish
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Great replacement if yours fails

The front driver bearing in my 03 G35 sedan failed at 85k. Was replaced about 5,000 km ago. I ended up ordering a second one to replace the passengers, just in case. I can't say anything bad, but I've only got 5,000 km on it. From what I've read it should last another 100,000. A bit difficult to replace and your sockets might be too thick, but that's Infiniti's fault.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • old

Flawless finish

Another great item from Timken. Five stars! This is perfect for my 350Z. It's durable, perfectly finished and vastly superior to the OEM bushing kit which costs around $430 and has only lasted 45,000 miles on both fronts. After almost a year of daily use, there is no rust or wear. The Timken is only marginally more expensive than the competition (excluding dealers), but unlike most bearing kits, the Timken will last a lifetime. I've built and overhauled many race and everyday cars, and I've…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
