Perfect fit and almost $100 cheaper than the car.

Perfect fit and nearly $100 cheaper than auto parts stores. Just a reminder, when replacing a wheel bearing on an Infiniti, don't forget to remove the wheel speed sensor before removing the bearing assembly as the sensor will break. I learned this the hard way.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Fine

Excellent quality bearings

In May 2018 my wife's Infinity G37S Sedan AWD had worn original bearings replaced. I replaced both front wheels as I couldn't tell which side was defective. VERY good quality and perfect fit. A bit fiddly to assemble, but not a problem for an experienced mechanic. I don't remember the OEM price now, but I'm sure it was 3-4 times more expensive.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Compatibility

Quality Product - Bearing

About 1.5 years ago I installed a cheap non-branded wheel bearing assembly. It's coming out. I replaced it with this one and the comparison between the two is really like night and day. Timken's materials and build quality are much better. After installation, the machine runs smoothly. Except for the other side, which I'll be doing with Timken soon.

Pros
  • Pleasure
Cons
  • Minor Stuff

1st bearing defective, 2nd also.

I bought two Timken wheel bearing assemblies (I originally wanted to replace both sides on my car although only one side was defective). I replaced the bad one with the 1st Timken. It went bad for about 6-8 months. after installation. I replaced it with a second one and here I am about 2 years later and the wheel bearing is failing again. After this experience I will never buy the Timken brand again.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Expensive

For a long time I thought my shitty Yokohamas made street noise

For a long time I thought my shitty Yokohamas made street noise. It turned out that my passenger bearing had collapsed. So far, so good. The Infiniti dealership charged over $400 for an OEM replacement, but this works well for a fraction of the cost of my 2007 G35X sedan. Update: 03/04/2019. The bearings failed after about 9 months. We'll see how well we can get the warranty coverage, but for now I downgraded that to 3 stars.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Fits

It saved me a lot of money and I am very happy with the design.

Installed TWO of these sockets on the passenger and driver front of my 2008 g35xS (4WD). How cool is it that you don't have to press it yourself? I mean it's amazing to me because I hate pushing. I was also really pleased that there are three holes for the ABS sensor, making it as convenient as possible for you if you don't have the hub alignment set correctly. It saved me a lot of money and I am very happy with the design.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Socket Required

Good DIY project if you have some tools

A few of these tools did a great job getting rid of that annoying hum in the front of the car (2011 Infinity fx35). At the back I will do, with me the process is quite simple, remove the wheel, remove the brake caliper with its bracket, remove the brake disc, remove the ABS line from the old bearing, unscrew 4 screws from the bearing and the axle nut (32mm) and remove the old wheel bearing, vice versa reinstall, i loosened the wheel nuts and axle nut with a crowbar before jacking up the car and

not that hard to do yourself and save a lot of money

I bought two of these bearings in a year to replace a 2009 Infiniti g37x. The OEM bearing on the passenger side needed replacing at 72,000 miles and on the driver's side at 82,000 miles (the car had that nasty front hum). The bearings are the same (driver's side and passenger's side). One way to tell if the bearings are bad is to honk your horn loudly in the car and the intensity of the noise will change when cornering. The dealer charged me $800 to replace each bearing - it took me about 90…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Useless features
