They might work well for some people in certain circumstances. This year I chained my jeep using platforms, and I also chain in the traditional way. I have found no benefit from using these ramps.

They work great, have used their chains to hunt moose, all 4 sets easily tensioned in about 10 minutes, no slack in the chains that doesn't work with slack adjusters ( Camlock) could be fixed ) and rubber snibber. The only thing I didn't like was the $5 price increase after trying to backorder just after 9 days.

I like the idea of these ramps, but they're too light. They can work well when laid on grass or gravel, but where I tried them (garage floor) they didn't work very well. They slid across the floor when reversing, and when the chains were tightened they also slid across the floor. In the end I didn't use them. I think if they were made out of solid heavy rubber they would be excellent but the molded plastic isn't heavy enough to stay in place.
