Spectral tech removed my old one. The two tivo connected directly to the MoCA could no longer connect to the Internet. I bought another one, queued it up and now everything is working again. So if you have a TiVo and want to connect it directly (so not via ethernet and a separate MoCA adapter) through MoCA, my experience is that you *need* it.

I used this to set up my Tivo MoCA network to add some Tivo Minis to the house. I really didn't want to spend money rewiring my house with an ethernet cable, nor did I want to have cables everywhere.
