Review on Enhance Network Performance with TiVo Authorized MoCA/Point of Entry (PoE) Filter! by Isaac Maze

I have a Tivo Bolt and two Minis. I have an Adaptec Moca adapter to provide data transfer over the cable. They worked fine, but I got the dreaded "Your connection is too slow" message, followed by a network failure. After a few days of making connections, changing routers, rebooting, and restarting everything in sight, I still had the problem. I replaced the splitter with a high pass filter (1G) and still no luck. Sometimes the connection disappeared immediately, sometimes it worked for minutes. The last Tivo tech I spoke to said his suggestion was to replace one of my wires under the house, not in a fun cramped room perspective. I had already ordered this "Tivo Authorized MoCA" filter, so I REPLACED the 15 year old filter at the cable exit point with this one. Minis now work properly.
