Ideal for the console. The only problem that exists is that where it goes over the click and swipe area at the edges, the click and swipe area is prevented from lifting all the way up. So when you press on the click and swipe area, it feels like it's been partially pressed.

This makes the Apple TV remote more grippy. However, it also makes it harder to press a button on the remote and makes it harder to use the remote with applications that require you to press the edges of the remote. I used it for about 2 days and decided to go back to just the remote control.

Unfortunately I bought this case AFTER I had dropped the Apple TV remote multiple times! Grrr! Good thing it hasn't broken since we put a suitcase in it. If anyone is thinking about getting an Apple TV Remote Case and hasn't already, DO IT! It's better to pay a few bucks for such a simple case than to replace the remote for $50!

Bought these to protect my Apple TV remote as I have sweaty hands and would benefit from being able to hold the tiny remote better. This case serves its purpose well. My Apple TV remote still looks brand new when viewed without the case. And I've never had a problem with the remote dropping because it allowed for a firm grip. If I were to buy another Apple TV, I would definitely buy another one!

I use my Apple TV quite a bit and I really like this remote. Obviously, I faced a certain challenge when using this remote control. I've always tried using top than bottom and vice versa. This totally small case has since solved my problem by covering the bottom of the remote. It also makes the remote much easier to hold and harder to drop. Why does Apple like to make its products so slippery?

My Apple Remote fell off the couch onto the floor looking like it had been hit by a car. The glass portion on the lower front of the remote control was shattered but did not come off, but the shards were sharp and small pieces fell off. I ordered this protective case in a hurry and it covers the broken area well and keeps us from touching sharp parts, you can't tell it looks like hell underneath. I'm sorry I didn't get it off the couch before the devastating fall of the remote.
