🍽️ TOAKS Titanium Tableware Set Review

Titanium fork and spoon, plastic element to connect with pliers. I like to wear less when camping and touring and have literally looked for it from time to time before it was done. Great little gear, replaced my tongs and silverware and saved me a several ounce load. Durable, semi-nonstick, lightweight and well designed. Not bad quality in a "fun" or spoon but a real fork and spoon that works like real tongs.

I really wish they would work. I've found that I really need to use tongs for outdoor cooking, and they have to be steel to handle coals as well. I love the TOAKS fork and knife and have several sets so the plastic hinge is great for keeping the weight down. Unfortunately they don't work as I had hoped. When I cook bacon over an open fire the heat burns out the pockets that hold the fork and spoon and unfortunately now they tend to fall out. I ended up going to Bed Bath and Beyond and bought a…

I was hoping they would help rotate food on my little camp grill but I was disappointed they didn't make it. They could well become hot dogs, but the silicone part is too fragile for anything heavier. You end up having to "hold" the fork and spoon (sorry, can't think of a good explanation) with your fingers, which you could do without the connector, and that puts your hands in the burning zone. light duty.
