Tobin DW5409 Stocking Counted 17 Inch Review

This is not a real stocking set. This is just the front of the stocking with lining. Even if you are a beginner do not take this as the instructions are complicated. I've embroidered and embroidered my whole life, and I think I'll do it by hand.

This is a beautiful stocking. With most stockings, the toes point to the left. This one points to the right. Since I cross stitched 4 stockings and wanted them all to face the same direction, I had to change the instructions. Not sure why this one was "retarded" compared to most.

I was looking forward to making this set but it is very cute. The color table contains a list of colors with a symbol but no number. There is a number on the threads, but no symbol. The threads in the kit seem to be of poor quality, so I will switch everything to a different brand. I will understand but I am very disappointed with this part of the design. Also note that Aida 14 does not sew well with two threads, we recommend using 3.

This is my first cross stitch project so I don't have many comparisons. In general I like the finished product. My biggest complaint was the color decoding. What I think is yellow is actually orange. What I think is red is actually orange. I ended up making one of the noses the wrong color and leaving it that way.
