I bought the 6-12 month size for my 17 lb 6 month old and it fits well with little room to grow. The sleeves are a bit long but roll up easily. She will be able to wear it until the end of the summer season. I bought this and another swimsuit (different brand, similar style) and didn't notice any difference in quality.

They say it's six to twelve months, but when you get it it's more than 12 months. I ordered two hoping the first one was a mistake but no. If you must use swim diapers, you can go up a size so that they fit your butt better.
