My son is almost 5 years old and this jacket fits perfectly. It has enough space to tuck a hoodie or sweater underneath when it's cold outside and is very understated overall. It's light, comfortable and quite stylish. I think it's good, especially since it can get quite windy here on a sunny day. The perfect jacket to always have on hand and he will wear it often!

For comparison, my baby is 2.5 years old. He is 30 pounds. I increased the size to a 4-5 because the reviews said it was a size up and I wanted to be able to layer this as needed. It's thin enough on its own to be used in a car seat. But you definitely want to go bigger once or twice. The handcuffs keep his hands from falling into his palms and they are a lovely shade of blue. Nice jacket!

Great pigmented graphics and nothing looks faded. My son loved it and didn't want to take it off. I have to say that he'll probably only get a few uses of it because it's a bit small. I even order a size larger than usual, so I say larger accordingly.

This is a really cute coat, although I agree with other reviewers that you should go up a size. I got it for my 2yro who normally wears 3T and I got the coat at 6-7.
