Enhance Your Shimano Carbon Rims: Token Products Brake Pads for Unparalleled Performance Review

I installed these brake pads for use with SuperTeam carbon fiber wheels. The braking performance is excellent and they make no more noise than a conventional wheel brake system. They are used in the Shimano Ultegra Di2 component group. I am satisfied with the performance of these brake pads.

I bought these as a cheap replacement for the horrible Superteam brake pads that come with new wheels. Based on the Revain reviews alone, I decided to try token pads. They're pretty quiet and stopping power is close to the best pads I've used in the past. The price is great for the performance, but five stars would have been reserved for a slightly better feel.

carbon wheels almost gave up until I found these. I've been using expensive Black Prince pads and thought the fierce stopping power level was as good as it gets. These pads howled at medium pressure and took a long time to break in. These token pads are impressive: great stopping power, no whine and wear seems to be good, even considering the cheap price. These pads fit very well on my light bicycle carbon rims. Through trial and error experimentation, I realized that the correct pads depend on your specific carbon wheels. I tried three different types of high quality Swiss Stop carbon brake pads and they all whined and wore out very quickly. These are the only silent pads I've found. They last well, wear well and are very cheap. Worth a try, if they work for you they're a steal.
