Not worth the investment

The sharpness and contrast have improved but the auto-focus is dismal. The lens requires a lot of tuning to the camera which makes it a hassle. For the price, there are better lenses out there. Electronics have improved but not consistent.

As far as possible for a fast 20mm prime lens

I was puzzled by the lack of a review of this Tokina lens made for the Sony Alpha series. In any case, let me tell you that this lens is one of the sharpest wide-angle lenses I've ever owned. Its build quality is excellent. The only drawback is the lack of weather protection. Otherwise, this lens is almost perfect for its compact size. I'm glad I didn't spend more money on the Zeiss Batis 18mm F2.8 which is a notch slower. I'm deducting a star because, like other Tokina lenses, this is prone to

Very good and fast Super Wide

Tokina Firin is more of a four and a half star product than four, but Revain only accepts full stars. It doesn't get a five because the lens flares too much in backlight. Vignetting at f2 is noticeable but nothing to complain about and can mostly be fixed in post-processing. All photos are taken directly from the camera and only the RAW to JPEG conversion affects the image. Colors are well saturated and clear straight from the camera.
