this product said it would go with my 90's Dodge Dakota fit. The bulbs fit well but the holder itself does not fit in the flashlight body it was 1mm too big

Socket was high quality and wires weren't as tiny as other similar products. I used it to change a motorcycle headlight and add a beam that is usually only available in other countries.

Purchased to rewire front turn signals that use 7440 from factory. It fits perfectly well and securely. No problem with them unless I wanted the wiring to be a foot long. I connected them to 1157 LEDs. Make the wiring longer, please!

The product itself works great and is easy to hook up. The texture of the wire is there, but it works fine after proper soldering. It didn't fit my body on a 2000 Cadillac Escalade and I had to melt the body to expand the mount to accommodate it. Make sure the socket fits into the housing. before installation or you can customize it like me.

Fixed fantastically and quickly. Sent very quickly. Installed without instructions. Unfortunately, I spent more time than necessary diagnosing the non-working one. We thought it was new bulbs but they weren't, one of the sockets was not plugged in properly. It would be intermittent. As a result, one broke trying to fix it. Poorly made but I liked that they were so flat.

They are designed for many uses so they are not 'perfect' for most. They snap and fit snug enough, and for the price you can't beat them. If you want the "perfect" fit, you can try your local retailer, but I hope you're rich. I bought a couple of these to replace a couple of rusty ones on the front of my 31 year old RV. Very happy with them.

I had a hard time finding the brake light connector for my 2012 Hyundai Elantra. It was at the dealer as expected, but it was overpriced and had more than I really needed. I chose the Tomall 1157 because it has the right shape and "right" wiring. The only bad thing is that I had to swap the red and green wires on my Hyundai to get the brake light to work. It's now been over two months since I changed the outlet and it's still working.

First, the wire colors are opposite to the factory cartridge, green goes to red and red goes to green. Then you have to cut off one tongue of the lock, shorten the other that it plays with too much in the case. I add a rubber grommet to this bushing to hold it in place. I used this in a brake/tail light that is in the tailgate. After all the mods everything works. I gave 4 stars because it's a good socket with real copper wires!
