Very satisfied!: my rating

This is my second pair of Tommaso shoes, the last one lasted almost 3 years! I had Shimano/Scott shoes and let me tell you the Tommaso shoes were the best shoes for me, they are a bit wider than Scott or Shimano which makes them more comfortable! I used to have sore toes after a long ride in Shimano or Scott shoes, with the Tommaso the pain is gone!

Pros
  • Works well with my MTB bike and street bike.
Cons
  • It's not worth it

Starts a small new review

I ordered 43 which is a ten as I usually take 9, my experience with ecommerce in general. My thumb touches the front of the boot. More than standard width than wide, maybe a little wider. Looks well made and is comfortable to walk on. Ordered Shimano 500 for comparison. Much broader at the tip than this and true to size.

Pros
  • Comfort - These shoes have a soft insole that adapts to the shape of the foot and offers maximum comfort.
Cons
  • Not suitable for off-road driving

I love these shoes! Comfortable and beautiful!

I gave these shoes to my husband and he loves them! They are comfortable and very pretty. The size is perfect and he uses it for our spinning.

Pros
  • good value They do what is expected, fit well and are easy to put on and take off.
Cons
  • Lack of ankle support

I read a lot of reviews and wanted the shoes to fit my foot size 13 EE. I was expecting wide shoes. This shoe wasn't like that. First of all, the sole is not particularly wider than any other cycling shoe. Putting my foot in a regular sock made me angry! However, I went home, put on a thinner sock, and the material of the shoe started sticking to my foot. After the first ride on a new bike, trying on shoes was absolutely unthinkable. What I wanted were special wide shoes. They weren't the same…

Pros
  • The order came a day earlier than promised. The shoes look nice and are very easy to tighten with the adjustment knob.
Cons
  • Poor ventilation causing legs to overheat.

Poor quality control

Stitched where no holes are visible on the strap, poor quality control. The replacement pair I just received were sewn correctly. But I had to properly adjust the screw plate strap washer, glad I was able to remove and adjust it to allow the screw rod plate to slide where needed. now to see if she survives

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Only available in black

Budget mountain bike shoes

I rode these shoes for the first time today and am very impressed! The fit was perfect, I'm a size 10 US and a size 43 EU fits great. Rode over 10 miles today on varied terrain with no discomfort, pain or blisters in my feet! So my first impression is that this is a well made quality shoe that is just as good if not a little better than my old Shimano for less money. The only thing I would advise is to buy them direct from Tommaso and not from Revane. They were $25 less than straight. I paid…

My husband loves these cycling shoes!

I was afraid they would be too tight as my husband has wide feet. I was pleasantly surprised when they fit him perfectly! He likes the velcro straps (instead of laces) which provide good tension control and isn't worried about loose laces! They have a wide reflective stripe on the heel for extra safety when cycling at night.

Pros
  • quick change
Cons
  • too blunt

Nice shoe, a bit narrow for wide feet

Seems to be a well made shoe and contrary to what some reviewers say they are no heavier than any other cycling shoe I've had to clip to to get participation. Some people have indicated that they feel the clip went too deep into the shoe. I didn't think so. I wear shoes 10 wide. I bought a size 43 which is a size 10 in the US. At first I thought I might have to send them back because they are too tight. But after a few uses, I think they've stretched a bit. They're still thick, but not enough…

I expected more from Athletic

For an unknown brand at the asking price I thought I would buy better shoes. The buckle on the right boot appears to be misadjusted in the shoe as it tends to "bump" on the side of my foot. Luckily, blistering isn't a bad thing, but it's not great when you're first putting your shoes on. I've already had about 10 rides of about 12 miles with pretty good elevation gain and for some reason I had to tighten the cleats each time or I struggled to get off the pedal. Sure, I miss my old Mavic shoes…

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Security

Very convenient. Very important.

I smashed them up on a gravel drive in six hours a day. There are no hotspots. Easy quick Velcro adjustment while riding with swelling feet. comfort. absolutely love her. I have other expensive boots that are much less comfortable. Walk. What I really like is the balance of buoyancy and stiffness. This is great if you get on and off your bike frequently. They might be too stiff for long hikes on bike trails, but perfect for camping or cafe trips. Durability. Unknown. If they don't make it…

Good shoe, a bit narrow for a wide foot

Seems to be a well made shoe and contrary to what some reviewers say they are no more difficult than any other cycling shoe I have clamped on fasten had to engage. They're still thick, but not…

Finally! Comfortable shoes with clips!

I tried 4 different boots at 2 different bike shops and only took home the Bontragers as they were the only ones I could handle. But after less than 2 miles my legs were killing me and my left was numb. Now I have bad flat feet so please don't take this as a blow to Bontrager. I just have a really hard time finding shoes that are comfortable for my condition. EVERY arch support in every insole causes problems etc. So imagine my surprise when I put them on and it was like AH HA! Moment. So I…
