Wrong size

Well I originally ordered these for my 4.5 year old daughter. All tags and boxes indicate this is a 'Child Size 6'. Today I bought Tom's clothes for adults in size 8.5 at Kolya. I receive these shoes and they fit my foot like my 8.5. If they didn't fit me I would have to send them back and I don't know what size to order for my daughter. Maybe check the shoe size chart?
