TONIC STUDIOS Detail Butterfly Flutter Review

Based on my observations, this leathercraft tool was a disappointment. It felt too cheap and flimsy to provide the precision I needed. The only positive thing I can say about it is that the butterfly design is cute. Unfortunately, the poor construction made it difficult to use, causing frustration during my crafting project.

Does not penetrate fully. I think it's a great concept and I'll still find a way to use it because I love the idea of little raised butterfly wings on my cards and letters I send out and I haven't found another stroke that does it uses the same concept. I just want it to work on the first try. I included the image above to perhaps help other potential buyers.

I found the lever on this punch to be a bit tight but I had no issues with punch cards. The size of the butterfly is just right for adding detail to any size greeting card. However, I have to get up and lean heavily on the lever to land a clean shot.
