I bought a USB conference microphone to use at a prayer group meeting in person or via zoom. Some of the men in the face-to-face group speak very softly and the computer microphone does not pick up their voices clearly enough. We've only used it once but the problem seems to have been resolved. It installs easily on Lenovo Thinkpad X140e running Windows 7 Professional. The only issue I had was the mic connection dropped 2 or 3 times - this could be an issue with an old OS or laptop.

We have connect groups at church. This is a 20 person classroom with a TV for our Zoomies to join in on. We experimented with cannon mics and 180 degree mics. There were always dead spots and it was difficult for our Zoomies to hear people in the class.
