Good Reasonable Bandwidth and Good Value w/the Cables. The IP Cameras that Prevents Good Audio

I use my IP cameras with a Network Video Recorder to watch my backyard wildlife. One camera, a Sunba 405 did not have a microphone so I purchased the Tonto to be able to hear as well as watch. This Device Does Work For Ambient Sounds Outdoors

Bought Pair Edifer Powered Speakers just for this application to hear outdoors, especially at night.Set up the speakers in my office, ran microphone through my office window, applied tie wraps on wires to make things tidy. Don't waste your money

Purchased this to add to an existing camera system. After multiple attempts to get it to work (2 hours later), it still will not.

Works exactly as expected

I use this in an average size room and the recorded audio is good quality. Normal speaking is crystal clear and can even make out talking under breath. I like that it came with plenty of cable and a power supply. Great buy.

Good Audio, Easy installation

I have an existing camera system in my office, decided I would like audio (Texas 1 party consent state), to record audio and video of client interactions. I ran the provided cable (100ft) to the camera and mounted the mic pickup alongside the camera and plugged the audio plug into my existing DVR and the power cable uses the same multi power plugs as all my other cameras so I have multiple unused power plugs. I needed a Mic audio pick up for my business and a friend recommended me Tonton. Initially I had some issues figuring out what was going on with the MIC so I reached out to their tech support. Very sensitive and works great.

So, added this to a 4 camera Annke system. The Annke system only allows 1 camera "to have” audio. I’m using camera 1 as front door and added it there. The gain is so sensitive and clear that even the slightest breeze was blowing it out. My solution was easy- I tucked the microphone under the soffit. It’s clear of the wind and still provides excellent sounds. I would definitely recommend and buy again.

Great quality microphone to pair with security cameras that have a poor microphone

The pickup on this microphone is great. Fully analogue and sound quality is not compromised on an extended cable run alongside electrical wires in a conduit! I have it connected to a microphone input on a sound card sampling at 44.1KHz running into Blue Iris.

It does not pick up 60 feet and it was poor quality sound

It really didn't pick up at 60 ft I was lucky to get 20 ft to actually hear somebody. It didn't filter out any background noise and was actually poor quality

Terrible recording device sent to me.

Be aware, I am not sure if it was a mistake, or if it was intended to send me "200pcs chip covers" when I ordered a CCTV microphone.While very easy to install with the included screws, the quality of the recordings were terrible. Sounded like nothing at all.

If its windy out and you're trying to understand what someone is saying , good luckno wind outside , you can hear about 20 feet away
