Good Starter Kit

This is a great starter kit for making pom poms, scissors takes a little getting used to. You'll need to experiment with how much material you use to make each pom pom. However, if you use too much material, the holder will fall apart before you tie it. Otherwise super easy to use. If you're making fabric pompoms, it's a good idea to sew them together with a needle and thread instead of just tying them together to hold them together.

You get what you pay for

i trying to make enough pom poms for my rug so I need something easier to use than the cardboard circles I usually use to make pom poms. I figured I'd save a few bucks and buy a cheaper fake pom pom maker. However, you get what you pay for. I probably made about 20-30 pom poms in all four sizes and the pink is already falling apart for the wrong purpose. The included scissors (one of the selling points for me), great for making pom poms as you won't be able to apply the force you need withโ€ฆ

Excellent Pompom Maker

Definitely worth making if you have made your own pom poms. The tool does exactly what it should. I am involved in the prayer shawl ministry at my church and we are currently making blankets and baby hats for the pregnancy support center. When making pom poms by hand, I cut off enough yarn to get a nicely shaped pom pom. The pom pom that comes out of this tool is almost perfect and requires very little trimming. The instructions on the box aren't the best, but watch a YouTube video about pomโ€ฆ
