This is easy to use to check if a spark plug is getting power. The brightness of the light can show if there is a problem with the coil. I must have old engines. This is a reasonable price.

The device didn't fit the plug cord well but I could live with that. When it fell apart after a few uses and the bulb fell out of its holder, it earned 1 star. It was more expensive than the cheapest so I was expecting a bit more.

I used this to check the spark on my old Honda bike. It works great but won't fit motorcycle forks as it's not snug. Basically, it's a quick way to check if a candle is sparkling. It's easier to see and a little safer than putting a spark plug on your head and looking for a spark.

So on my old car it was impossible to test this on spark plugs without completely disassembling the engine components. So I tested the cable on my new machine. The cable is a bit cheap, but it did the job. He worked and checked all the spark plugs efficiently. I would recommend this BUT CHECK YOUR VEHICLE FIRST, NOT ALL SPARK PLUGS ARE READY AVAILABLE!

This thing did its job. Helped me troubleshoot my lawnmower's ignition module. This was an intermittent issue, but easily spotted with this tester. I wouldn't have found it on the engine using the old spark plug method. On the good side, since the engine is a twin, the light stays on (or flashes fast enough to appear so). Not that bad. Its worth it!
