Will not work at 1Gbps

I bought these connectors for a refurbishment. I ran some high quality wiring through the walls and wanted high quality outlets. They look great and feel solid. But I tried all 5. I could not get a speed of 1 Gbs. The toolless version didn't even deliver stable 100Mbps. I had to use a punch tool to get a more or less good 100Mbps. But with 1Gbs it was no luck at all. Too bad I can't return them as I bought them in advance and the repair took longer than expected.

Pros
  • Cables and Accessories
Cons
  • Discontinued

DO NOT BUY IT DOESN'T WORK!

Toolless end option is great. However, they don't work! Not 1 ending worked properly. After each was tested for continuity, it was determined that the wires did not make contact with the connector because the connector did not puncture the cable jacket (even after using a hole punch). Only 2 of the connectors installed did NOT have wires with continuity. After purchasing another set of ends and using a tool, each wire worked perfectly. SO IT WENT TO THE GARBAGE.

Pros
  • Ethernet cable
Cons
  • Doubtful

Meh, this will work with pliers.

Meh, this is my first experience with CAT7 or CAT8 terminators. Works well. I may not be familiar with this yet, but I have years of experience with CAT5e6 data center cabling. It could only be me. To call them "non-instrumental" would probably be an exaggeration. You will need pliers to close the security doors. I was a bit stressed as these terminals are not exactly cheap. Although it seemed to work fine. I'd rather have a crimping tool to put some/proper pressure on the keystone to complete…

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
