When you need to touch up a surface with a knockdown texture, this knockdown knife is a must. Other spatulas are too stiff and just don't work.

It took me a while to get used to this, but I found it does a good job of smoothing out textures applied to walls. However, after a few uses, the edges became rough and began to add lines within the recess width.

Instead of paying $4000 for texturing the ceiling I decided to try it myself. I've used this knockdown knife and the results have been amazing.
