My second order for these pads. The first order was yellow pads and they fit perfectly. These pads are thin black pads, totally different from the picture, thinner than the yellow pads. Doesn't fit what I ordered. I wanted the original pads that came with my clamps. I would return it but not worth reboxing for a refund. I just toss it in the corner of my toolbox and keep using the old one.

This is the second time I have bought replacement pads from this list. The first time I got yellow pads that slide. This time I got black spacers that just fit over the blue plastic. Irwin did not change the part number but added "_REV1" to the UPC. They fit but are not as strong as the yellow pads. I'm deducting a star because the setup isn't as good as it used to be. If you have a newer line of these clamps they are for the light duty line.

I have some small clips that I use to hold some pieces together while I pin them. Roughly, they gradually melt. I remove them quickly enough, but over time they suffer. Clamps are light and I can drop them, so finding replacement pads is a bonus. These spacers are the same thickness and quality as the clamps. The item sent is a black spare, however the part that was in stock and fits my quick gripper is a yellow spare. Both items have the same part number printed on the packaging. I have several sets of Vise-Grip Quick-Grip brand mini clamps that I bought in 1991 and the pads were outdated and needed replacing. I ordered them based on the seller's picture and description because they looked exactly like the original thick yellow overlay pads.
