The most practical of all tools: Needlework accessories

This is a very practical tool that is always close to the sewing machine or when hand sewing or embroidering. It is easy to take, it is light and does not require much effort to cut the threads. I have arthritis in my hands and this makes snacking on threads a breeze.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Useless functions

Ideal scissors for cutting thread or yarn.

I use these spring scissors for embroidery or sewing and mainly cut yarn or thread. These scissors are perfect for this type of work. They're not designed to cut fabric, but they're small and handy.

Pros
  • Less hand fatigue
Cons
  • Doubtful

The Tooltron scissors I owned were very sharp, with thin blades and a very precise tip that allowed for precision work. Although these are from the same manufacturer they were a big disappointment as they have thicker blades making it difficult to slip under the tiny seam that needs to be removed.

Pros
  • Curved blade
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Sharp scissors that can get close to stabs!

Bought these scissors to cut machine embroidery thread while working on a design. You are perfect! Super sharp and can get very close to the seam. I also use it to remove transition stitches. Easy to use but only gripe is that the non-cutting end can scratch, but once you get the hang of the scissors it's not a problem. I will always have a pair of these in my sewing box!

Pros
  • For all sewing work
Cons
  • Not sure
