Not safe for toddlers!

My son wanted to play with this so I opened the can and he grabbed one and it popped open and a small screw and spring popped out. We've only had them for 5 months and I don't let him play with them all the time. They were never abandoned or anything. Now I don't have the money they're worth and I have to throw them away. They are not safe at all for small children. What if I hadn't looked after my son and taken their word for it being safe and age appropriate?

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • There are nuances

My daughter liked this toy from the start and she still makes a useful thing

Although it looks like a simple and boring toy, my daughter LOVES these things. It's still a good toy if I need to put it in the playpen and distract it for a minute. For some reason she just likes to ruin eggs and shells and scatter them everywhere. Because the egg box is so compact, we even took it with us on vacation recently. Sometimes she even just plays with the egg tray. Can't explain but I'm so glad I bought these based on other great reviews. Goodbye.

Great gift for toddlers

This is still one of the best toys for toddlers I've seen. It combines two matching types but only requires one to close the lid, which is helpful when kids are just starting out. The creaking isn't too annoying, which is useful. Because if your kids love this model as much as mine, you'll be hearing those squeaks for at least a few years. The tape was fine for repairs, but I wish it would last the life of the toy.

It is great.

It is so great my 23 month old loves it. I think the only problem I really have is that it's really, really hard to open. Even my 5 year old gets me to open it. If it were a little easier I would give 5 stars. Also, I want each of the eggs to have a different pattern when the eggs break, so the colored face is only appropriate for a chick of the same color. They all fit together. Which could just be my OCD. But it would be nice. lol i added pics to show what i mean. Edit: Less than a month…

Gorgeous with many educational uses. Well done

Bought for my 18 month old baby. We love the egg set. She's too young to match the shapes to the right egg in the box, but loves pointing out the colors and playing hide and seek. This set is a great educational toy for developing study skills, skill matching, memory and more. It was a little smaller than expected, but the plastic box is very strong, so we use it for travel. If you're looking for a set specifically for squeaking, you may be disappointed. All of my balls squeak, but it's a faint

Very cute peek peek eggs with matching colours, shapes and emotions

These eggs are so cute our 11 month old loves them. We gave it to her for Easter and the little yellow pouch is small and compact so it fits right in her basket. The case is handy for storing them, although as a vegan I wish it looked more like a nest than a tote bag. When squeezed, the chickens emit a slight squeak; I really appreciate that they don't require batteries and aren't very noisy. I also like that they encourage matching colors, shapes and facial expressions (each egg/chick has a…

Cute, colorful and squeaky

Pros: Appears to be well made so hopefully it will last a while. The plastic feels thick and appears to be of good quality. Ugly seams are not visible. The colors are beautiful and bright. Children love taking eggs out and putting them back in. Cons: They creak, but that's pretty pathetic unless you hit them. I would compare the sound to a wheel squeaking or two plastic objects rubbing against each other. It's not cute, like a "squeaky" chicken. The clasp on the front is a bit difficult for the

Don't waste money. barely audible "squeak " noise

This is a ridiculously lame toy. First, all the sounds emit the same low squeak, which isn't like a squeak at all. In fact, the squeaking noise is drowned out by the clanking noise made when the plastic parts rub against each other. And despite the music symbols on the box, there are no music sounds. Second, each eggshell top is interchangeable, while the top of the purple egg "should" on the purple bar (and orange would go with orange and pink with pink, etc.), the top eggs go with all egg…

Great toy for BABY and BABY, MULTI-SKILL LEARNING

BENEFITS: • Fun for kids of all ages (my 1 and 3 year olds love to play with this) • Employs multiple skills: - Sorting (shapes, coloring ) , emotion) - Fine motor skills (putting eggs in a container) - Imaginative play ('cooking' eggs in the play kitchen) - Cause and effect (creaking sounds) • Compact + with dedicated storage CONS: • Squeaky sounds could be better (some eggs hardly make any noise) I bought this as a first birthday present and I'm surprised at how much these eggs are played…
