Oculus Headset Case

This is great value for money and definitely lives up to the description. However, we had to return it because my son didn't like the fact that it had dust on it, picky boy.

Good fit, good material. Requires slots for ventilation holes.

This case is soft and slim. It fits very well. The interior of the front has nice lugs that help airflow. All you have to do is cut out the slots to match the cooling slots on the device. After playing for a long time, the devices get so hot that the image starts to wobble slightly.

not as tight as i expected and no "breathing gaps "

Most cases have these vents, not that the oculus has vents that vent heat, but this one doesn't have vents. It's not stuck either. It may not be bad, but it seems cheap. Not that it's going to fall off, but I'm not sure yet if it will interfere with the cameras. I think that in general they are all overpriced for what they have. For these three reasons it gets 4 instead of 5 stars.

Update 12/16/20 Overheating issue Although it fits well but still for those who like long VR sessions you may need to avoid it according to How do I Put on this protection . This was the first time the system had an overheating issue after a long gaming session. To my surprise it fit perfectly, a bit loose but hardly noticeable but when it arrived it came with a small zipped pouch with that VR silicone protector so putting it on can be an issue. Update 12/16/20 Overheating issue Fits well but still for those who enjoy long VR sessions you may need to avoid it after like me put on this protection. This was the first time the system had an overheating issue after a long gaming session. This will overheat the headset.

Should have read the reviews before purchasing. The silicone case fits loosely over the Oculus Quest 2 headset. It lacks ventilation and my headset got hot after a very short amount of play. I do NOT recommend using this if you typically play for an hour or two at a time. If I still had the packaging it came in I would have tried to return it.
