A great and must-have tool for carbon fiber bikes!

This is my first Revain review and I'm writing it because this product is so good. I recently bought my first carbon fiber road bike and used my old allen wrenches to adjust the seat, handlebars, brakes, etc. Luckily, I learned early on that carbon fiber bikes require torque standards for various bike components. . I did some research and bought the Topeak D-Torq Wrench DX and it was great! It's really easy to use, easily switches between the three main units of measurement, and has all the…

It is great.

I have this wrench, it's easy to use, comes with one AA battery, instructions and nice case. The case holds keys and bits and protects the key. The key is very easy to use. This is reversible for left-hand threads. This is one of the few I've been able to find that only goes as low as 2 Newton meters when working on some parts of the bike. The button will beep when you get to the setting. That's how it works well. You can look at the digital display during use and see when the beep sounds. But…

High Quality 1/4 " Torque Wrench

This torque wrench is of good quality and accuracy. Very necessary when working with carbon fiber and aluminum parts so that you don't crack or break them by using too much force or torque. The only thing what I didn't know was that it was for hex bits, and didn't find out until later when I did.So, solution?I just bought a 1/4" hex to square adapter, um to work like a regular ratchet and accept 1/4" sockets. (Note: the larger wrench only comes with a 3/8" square drive. This smaller 1/4" 1-20Nm

Pros
  • Hard Carrying Case
Cons
  • Everything OK
