Great product in the sport department

It's nice to have CO2 and a hand pump at the same time. For example, this holder has two places for carbon dioxide cartridges. Very compact.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Out of style

Great idea, might work for most, not what I was hoping for

This is a great idea, if a bit awkward. It also doesn't pump as well as my Carbon Lezyne mini pump. Finally, joining the Presta is a bit of a pain compared to all the others I've used. It's not immediately clear if it's twisted or not. I will leave it at home as a spare and continue to carry another pump with me.

Overall the pump is good

I have pumps that are easier to reach higher pressure or fill faster and I had another complete combination pump similar to this one, from a different manufacturer. . However, it broke. Although I have several pumps that I always use for specific purposes, this is the simplest except that it doesn't have a pressure gauge. So you just need to be able to gauge the pressure when inflating tires on a long ride where rolling resistance is important.

Very happy with the size and feel

I put this pump in a water bottle along with the CO2 cartridge, spare hose and patch kit. It ALL fits in a regular water bottle and now I can use one of my bottle cages to carry my home renovation kit. Not only is it compact and lightweight, but it can also operate without CO2 if required. My kit came with one cartridge as noted by another reviewer. The product description says it doesn't come with a cartridge so your luck may vary. However, the packaging is clearly equipped with a special…

great pump and CO2 cartridge

Here is a short list of the pros and cons of the pump. I also came with a CO2 cartridge, so maybe the description of the item is wrong? Benefits1. Compatible with Presta/Schraeder2. Flexible pump hose3. Lightweight, 97 grams4. Either CO2 or pump5 can be used. Removable holder for 2 cartridges6. Small enough to easily fit in a jersey pocket. Cons 1. Lots of pumping to get the pressure up (but that's to be expected for a tiny pump)2. I had a little trouble threading the hose onto the presta valve

Pros
  • great price
Cons
  • good but not great

Probably the best pump you can get for the money

Not too heavy or bulky, allows use of CO2 cartridges (comes with frame to fit behind pump, water bottles and 2 cartridges) and also provides you with a pump in case you have more than 2 flat tires or if the cartridges haven't completely filled your tire and you want to refill. It gets 110, which is good enough for road bikes. Of course, you should carry a patch kit to cover it in case of multiple flat surfaces. In addition, the flexible retractable hose makes it much more comfortable to use and

Great concept, but there are weaknesses.

The mini pump is great. The extendable hose is great. The CO2 valve sucks. And that was after a lot of shaking and shaking to get all the CO2 out. I then re-inflated with a 20g cartridge with another pro inflator valve and got 67psi out. I love the pump design and the multifunctional concept, but Topeak's engineers need to overhaul their CO2 valve. My theory is that the emitted carbon dioxide is icing and clogging the valve. Also on the pump side where you turn the valve to inflate the tire. Be
