Really made for bike use only

Some reviewers have said it works well on their cars. In my experience, this fitting did not properly engage my car's Schrader valves, so I was unable to take pressure readings or inflate it when it was installed. It was not clear to me from the description on the website that this product is for bikes only. The packaging and literature that came with the product was clearer. If you want to use this on a car I would look elsewhere. That being said, this plug looks and feels very nice and I'mโ€ฆ

Fits well on our strollers

I bought these to access the attachments on our Bob Revolution 12 inch wheeled stroller and the wheels on our Kelty dual treadmill. We often had to refuse to refuel tires. because they were so hard to get to. None of our pumps will fit at home, and only a few at gas stations. When I put this on and attack the pump I find it a bit difficult to force air through as it gets stuck in this device. I'm not sure if it's my pump, a device, or a bad mount on my side. Nevertheless, the tires got air inโ€ฆ

Tire Valve Plug

I have a moped/scooter with 12" wheels made from large aluminum spokes (5). They already have 45 degree valves but it is still very difficult to inflate them with air. Sometimes it's a 3 hand job Thanks to this I can force air into the tires, not everywhere, but it's an easy task. The valve stems on the scooter flex under any pressure, giving the ability to lock it , makes the job easier, especially with the manometer and large handle fitted with universal tools on most Connecticut station airโ€ฆ

Not for car tires in Shop Tools

I use a portable air pump with a clip-on connector to keep my car tires inflated. The clip-on is almost useless: it's difficult to put on the tire's schrader valve and very difficult to remove from the schrader. So I tried Topeak. I leave the male end of the Topeak plugged into the clamp connector (okay). But then I have to screw the female end to the Schrader. This requires a few twists with your fingertips. A woman's collar twists (good), but since the threads are thin, they are easy to tieโ€ฆ

Works as expected

I think this is a quality part. The picture attached is not entirely correct; It has a flat head vacuum valve instead of the one pictured here on Revain inside the threaded female end (which is good because I really wanted it anyway). The valve seems to be sticking a little, but only a little at first; it then works pretty well to prevent air leakage (and if you're really worried about that you can always put a cap on the end of the pump. The end of the pump swings freely around the fingers onโ€ฆ

Works perfect! - Shop Tools

This little tool was well packaged and delivered very quickly. The purchase was like a game of dice after reading the negative reviews, but I was lucky and everything works great. I use it for the Pet Gear pet stroller. The wheels are small, about 12 inches, and too small to plug my Serfas floor pump into a Schrader valve. My pump has a built in pressure gauge and it worked great with this fitting. I screwed the connector onto the valve, then attached the floor pump connector to the end of this
