Cheap, good looking, but rather slow write speed

I bought these cheap 16GB flash drives to share videos from my library with friends. The first thing I do is a quick reformat (with Windows 7) to NTFS. This removes the file size limitation. I find the write speeds on these drives to be quite slow compared to other inexpensive flash drives I've used, but since I won't be copying files to them until I get over it. It took an hour to copy two video files (.ts) totaling 13.3GB to the drive. An 11.8GB video file took just over half an hour. Video…

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE cost me $75!

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. I am devastated. I'm a photographer and bought these for temporary work before transferring to my primary external hard drive. I was dumb and thought they would be ok and I had 2 client photos (finished edits with over 35 hours of editing and 2 photoshoots) and the piece of shit just fell through and I lost it all. Practical product. for USB sticks

This product is said to be compatible with Linux and Mac OS. I'm using OS 10.13.1 and these memory cards didn't work with my Mac desktop when I plugged them into the USB port.
