Just opened but will update if there are any issues in the future. Very beautiful. My 4 year old put them together with a little guidance. We bought them to be able to store them and short people use them in the upstairs kitchen bar but can make them short at the kitchen table so we can seat more people together. They are very cute and ideal for both purposes. Kids have tried them in both places, as have adults.

*This is a review of the soft version. The adjustable height allowed me to sit comfortably at the drawing table. Cons: The pillow doesn't support my anatomy well. While it supports my sit bones, it also puts pressure on my "erogenous" area to the point that I had to get up after 10 minutes. Maybe a hard seat would be more comfortable.

I think that smells so cute! I got this as a kind of step stool, we have very tall cabinets and I can't reach the top. Now I'm going to say that when I take the parts out of the box, tempting as it may be, don't grab the seat by the pole. ! Despite the missing Allen key (left from another project) the first chair went smoothly. The instructions are pretty clear, the chair is nice, pretty sturdy and comfortable. But when I got to the second chair, the backrest doesn't easily fit the 2 holes (still shaking, giggling, pulling, pushing the seat as it slowly enters); can't add nuts until that happens. The biggest problem, however, is a broken piece on one of the legs, preventing me from screwing in the "G" - the stool leg! If it breaks

The package arrived very well packed. A box within a box and a wooden stool with a large metal screw to attach it to the seat were wrapped in bubble wrap which was placed on the underside of the stool base. Very durable and well built. The instructions need more information. Once you have the seat unfolded, attach a large metal screw to the bottom of the seat and hand tighten with the metal ring to hold the seat at the desired height. Not quite sure how to rate these stools. Four stars is pretty generous considering the effort it takes. First the good: They are really cute and just the style I was looking for. They're comfortable and feel sturdy and decently constructed. Now for the bad: I ordered several sets of these stools and each stool arrived with chips, chipped paint and scratches.
