Box just opened, everything connected; I have no sound and the LED on the volume control is not working. The very unhelpful manual says the absence of an LED likely means "OS problems". The solution given is to reinstall the operating system, but gives no idea how to do it. (And if the OS the manual refers to is mine's iMac, I'd rather get a different amp.) I'll play with it for a day or so and then just return it if the problem persists. .

Replaces Sonic Impact Class-T with this amplifier. WOW, I had no idea USB DAC would make such a big difference! Voices become clearer and clearer. Much of the stereo sound appears to be encoded for surround sound and doesn't sound straight out of simple stereo speakers. The topping amplifier delivers true, normal stereo sound without additional surround sound encoding. I added this amp to a pair of Cerwin Vega VE-5Ms on the floor under my desk.
