Description of 🎧 Topping D10s HiFi USB DAC XU208 ES9038Q2M DSD256 32bit/384kHz Coaxial/Optical/RCA Output Mini Desktop Audio Decoder (Black)

β™« Upgraded version TOPPING D10s USB DAC: Customized Thesycon driver + XMOS XU208 + ES9038Q2M + OP. β™« Automatic power on/off: Even some USB port support power after PC has shut down, D10s still will synchronously power on /off with PC. β™« Audio format andsampling rate indicator: D10s can accurately indicate the audio format(PCM or DSD) and sampling rate of the playing music. Orange LED is soft and not dazzling even at night. β™« Multiple connections: D10s could connect with your active speakers. It could connect to power/headphone amp. If you have a better DAC , you can connect the coaxial /optical output of D10s to your DAC , then D10s serves as a USB interface . β™« OP-AMP Rolling, D10s has OP amp socket, Diyer could change the OP amp to get different sound. Any question, please contact the after service team.

Good DAC for an old stereo

I use it with an old phone and an old stereo to listen to different streaming services. It brings the old stereo into the modern age.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Everything ok

The price of money. for receiver and amplifier

value for money, the sound is very warm, analogue, no MQS, but for such a price. It is in order. High-quality sound up to 192 kHz. A good starter purchase, on par with the Schiit'3 product.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Exceeding D10s. Excellent DAC. Worth every dollar.

The build quality and overall appearance are superior to the much more expensive DAC. I would recommend the Topping D10 to anyone looking to boost their digital library. The soundstage and presentation are amazingly reproduced.

Bridging the Gap Good for Receiver and Amplifier

I haven't really heard it as a DAC. I used it as a USB bridge from my computer to a bluetooth transmitter. it does a very good job. I'm hoping to hook it up to my receiver at my home office to see how it sounds as a DAC. But so far, Topping's audio products have surprised me with their value for money. I haven't been satisfied with the best audio product yet.

Pros
  • Receiver and Amplifier
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Very Reliable D/A Converter in Amplifiers

If you're even considering buying this, you might as well. This is a very clean, high performance DAC and relatively cheap. If you only listen to music, they will serve you well. I use them on my Stax Lambdas. Measurements for this DAC can be found on the Audio Science Review forums. This is a very reliable DAC regardless of the price. Sure you can get better, but you will see diminishing returns if you just listen.

Pros
  • Home Theater
Cons
  • Not Sure

Works with smartphones!?!

Very happy with this machine. I used it on my PC to play HiRes audio files. Today I discovered that my smartphone (Samsung S21 Ultra) can power Topping without any other power source. I was very surprised by this, but I believe the phone's battery drained faster than usual. Can anyone confirm if this is bad for the phone's battery? I played about 30 minutes of HiRes music and lost about 7% of my battery life. Not scary!

Pros
  • Amplifier
Cons
  • Upgradeable
