★MULTI-USE FUNCTION: The dual trailer hitch extension bar can be used for towing a trailer while mounting a bike rack or a cargo carrier (TOP RECEIVER IS NOT INTENTED FOR TOWING USE). ★HIGH STRENGTH: This dual hitch extender is rated to tow up to 4000/400 lbs GTW/TW and is compatible with most Class 3/4 hitch receivers. ★ADJUSTABLE LENGTH: This extension has total length of 15 inches; 3 pin holes on the shank allow to adjust the length from 8" to 10", when inserted into the receivers. Ease of use: hitch accessory

really easy to use, (+) love the set screws that are included to eliminate sagging on whatever you attach. (-) It sags a lot when inserted into my car receiver. I need to find a supply of pucks.

Perfect fit for our RV for hitch accessories

My husband ordered this for our RV. We can now use our shelf for firewood and other items, and we can still use our bike hitch. That made the task easier. I was surprised that he had a bike hitch with all four bikes. Happy with our purchase.

This worked great for what I wanted.

I used it on my Subaru Outback to raise the Yakima swing so it doesn't land on rough roads and trails. Be sure to take measurements for your application as I have sorted many similar products. That worked great for me. Solid and strong.

NOT STRONG on hitches and winches

This hitch is rubbish. I had this on my RV this weekend driving up a steep hill and my hitch broke. I understand the scratching, but that hitch was bent and the one attached to it wasn't. Now I have to try to get it from my receiver in my RV. No but. Very CHEAP CHINESE steel is used.

Coupling not straight

The coupling is unfortunately not quite straight, but tilts a few degrees to the left when towed (in the photo on the right because the picture was taken from behind). Force on it when towing. I don't know if that has a negative effect. However, I expect it to be absolutely straight (90°).

Great hitch extender

I use it to elevate my trunk a bit when I go to the beach. My truck went down as I backed out of the driveway. This extension raises the loading area so that it does not sink to the ground. Overall, it makes a well-made and durable impression. I only use/install it when I use my truck so I can't comment on the weather resistance.

Worked for me! in Exterior Accessories

There is a slight play inside where it connects to the original clutch. The easy play in the original handset is further enhanced by the fact that it is an extension. This applies to every extension. However, the fact that it has turnbuckles for the hitch helps greatly reduce the effect of my rack wobble. Everything works very well and it works as intended.
