Terrible balance, buy another brand

Very expensive to sit and watch it recalibrate itself every few minutes and give you a code error are. Otherwise it works fine. But I would advise buying another brand. At the same time, the scale is very inaccurate, although it supposedly drops to 4 decimal places. The weight varies greatly up to +/- 0.01 g. Definitely recommend buying another brand. Definitely not a scale that works in a lab.

Pros
  • Compact all in one design with tough ABS body, pull ring and non-slip leveling feet
Cons
  • No performance

Sliding doors aren't exactly sleek, but they're quite livable for the money. There are many warnings in the box about the dangers of overloading the load cells, which are always good to see. Put them in the lab so the newbies…

Pros
  • High speed USB and RS232 connectivity for improved usability

  • Damaged

As well as using it in the kitchen, I bought this balance to accurately measure magnetic weight and force for rotating equipment. What really caught my attention was the USB serial port. I haven't used this tool yet, but at some point I plan to log readings to a computer so I can do automatic selection and balancing (which is far too complicated and tedious to do by hand). So far I've only tested it with random objects. For example, weigh an avocado and a pineapple. Then place both items on the
