I love my Torq helmets but clear visors don't help when you're riding in the sun or on a very bright day and sometimes you need more than a pair of sunglasses. This is the second tinted protection I've bought and it's perfect for summer rides. Also, I can easily turn it over while driving and it stays upright.

Easy helmet replacement. All you need is literally a quarter. It takes about 2 minutes in total. Light smoke seems to be the perfect shade and is a huge improvement over regular clear plastic. No more squinting or straining because the sun is in your eyes. It's also anti-fog and serves its purpose. Very happy with the update

Good product. I was hesitant to go with this shade as I wanted a darker one but other reviews mentioned the other was too dark. This one is fine. Structurally, it's great too. The truck threw a rock and crashed into my canopy. It left a fairly deep and long scratch, but held up very well and didn't break. I will buy another, darker visor and update my review next time.

Glad I didn't take the other reviews too seriously about this over dark shield as it is perfect! I wanted a shield so I didn't have to wear sunglasses and that's what it takes. I'm not the type of person to wear sunglasses indoors or at night. I have no vision problems even when the sun is behind clouds or I'm in a tree tunnel. It's also very easy to swap out the shields on these helmets.

Fits well on the helmet and does the job but this thing is too dark for even the sunniest of days. Much darker than many of my previous "Dark Smoke" lenses for other helmets. I had to buy light smoke because it's like night driving. I like the tint of light smoke, but after washing the bugs off with mild soap and water, some of the film started to come off. I am not satisfied with any of the shields. I almost wish I had bought that particular helmet.

I like how this thing looks on my T-1 but the hue is too dark. I took it today as we had brilliantly sunny weather and it felt like riding just after sunset. The only time I was glad I had a dark tint was when driving directly into the midday sun. At night I'm pretty sure this visor will be dangerously dark. I can only imagine how little light will penetrate the tint when driving at night. I ordered a light smoky color and will probably have to return it. Too bad because it looks so cool…
