Great product, suitable for body and fairing kits

, bought 1 box of 8 inch and 1 box of 6 inch for our renovation. I love these lights! This was a DIY project that we did with a lot of help from two wonderful neighbors who were our commercial electricians and both were very impressed with this product. They are very thin and could probably fit under the floor joists if needed, we shouldn't have but thought we could so we researched the situation. Also the daylight is very bright. Which I like. We put a dimmer, not ready yet.

Ease of installation. Looks Great

Installation was a breeze. The 1/2" top plate means I don't have to worry about placing this directly on top of the rack. Don't worry about putting the jar in space anymore. that I got a bad bulb in the batch. I would have sent them back but I didn't need everything I ordered so I had a spare bulb. (I made 3 orders for a total of 12 pieces, I only needed 10, not bad with only one minus).

Same product from a major retail store but Torch Star has a better price and package

This product was recommended to me by an electrician who had this product at home. I have recessed lights at home and these lights were bought elsewhere. those other lights were more expensive than these. I am very happy with this purchase and Torch Star's customer service is really good. will buy from this company again. I can't comment on how easy or difficult it is to install because I had an electrician install them.

Easy Installation

is so thin and sleek - spring clasps hold in place. I think the existing wiring makes the biggest difference in the installation. If there isn't much room and the wiring is already stapled to the studs, just because you don't have a lot of room to work with, it becomes harder to secure the connections. but it's simple, straight forward and looks amazing when finished. I also used a Lutron Sunnata Touch dimmer. adds a nice touch to modern design. In fact, a box j of 4 packs didn't work for him…
