The remote control is excellent! I bought a Toshiba 4K Smart TV on Black Friday last year and it's a great TV, but the remote that came with it didn't have any numbers. This is fine for all other functions, but flipping through cable channels was an issue. I have this universal remote and am so glad I did. It worked straight away with my Toshiba TV and I was able to easily program other functions from the original remote into it.

The original remote that came with an older Toshiba TV stopped working, preventing it from viewing streaming programs. one and read every review so I had no idea if this would work with my 10 year old TV.
