Description of 🐎 Enhance Dressage Performance with Total Saddle Fit - StretchTec Shoulder Relief Girth

Shoulder freedom from saddle tree with cutback design. Triangular center elastic allows girth to stretch in proportion to horse's chest while breathing (patent pending). Stretches in an anatomically friendly way to contour to a horse’s barrel and provide even contact through the sternum area. Interchangeable leather or neoprene liners (covers) for easier cleaning and so one girth can be used for multiple needs. Intelligent looped billet keepers which remain low profile and are virtually indestructible.

Great harness - I'm a fan of

Consider me a new convert to this TFS harness. I borrowed my trainer saddle before I bought mine and it holds my dressage saddle in place much better than a traditional straight girth. I like knowing that it has a slight stretch for my horse's comfort. Very well done. No complaints. It's a few inches longer than my traditional dressage girth, although both are a size 28. My trainer is a range of sizes so luckily I knew the right size for my horse before ordering.

Pros
  • Other sports
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Safe and comfortable for the horse!

No chafing, no hassle and incredible swing from the shoulder! I have a Tec elastic girth and a standard Total Saddle Fit leather girth for a dressage horse. I highly, highly recommend them both, but for my mare, the stretch technology made a HUGE difference in satisfaction and comfort. It's a very reliable harness that moves with the horse. There is a case for this if you have chafing (I didn't have one and used it 5 days a week for 2 months). The skin is beautiful, soft, well cleaned. Worth…

I liked it but it doesn't suit my horse.

I had the neoprene version and loved it, but my horse is not made for this type of harness. I have an Arabian with a big belly and a belt groove that goes far forward under the elbows and an extremely narrow chest. narrow chest, so this girth did not fit my horse. This left a gap in the front and all the pressure on the back of the girth just below his rib cage. The quality of the strap is amazing and I love the design, just wish it was narrower (20cm and under). .TSF has really good customer…

Pros
  • The triangular elastic in the center allows the girth to expand proportionally to the horse's chest as it breathes (patent pending).
Cons

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS! I have two high performance ponies.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I have two heavily bred ponies - a Norwegian Fjord and a Gypsy Wanner. The Fjord in particular is difficult to mount because it lacks "fluffiness" (read that as thick) and its shoulders therefore don't prevent the saddle from sliding too far forward when I'm riding. So, on the advice of my trainer, I bought one of these for Benny! Voila! It is comfortable and no longer slips in the saddle. Also, it's a very comfortable harness, so I bought one for my gypsy (although it's a…

Pros
  • Free shoulder from the saddle tree in a shortened version.

  • I vaguely remember

If it works, it works.

I bought two of these for two different horses. For the first horse, his regular girth with a new saddle was a bad combination and the girth seemed very uncomfortable to her to the point where she couldn't breathe while galloping (problem!). As soon as I put the Total Saddle Fit on, he realized he could breathe and did. His canter has improved significantly (imagine that!). A second horse had a lot of girth rubbing behind the elbow so we didn't use it. The third horse appears to be doing well…

Pros
  • Anatomically correct stretches to conform to the shape of the horse's body and provides even contact across the sternum.
Cons
