Totally Bamboo GreenLite Dishwasher Cutting Review

The board is too thin to work with. It's supposed to be 1 inch thick, but this board is too flexible for the cutting board to work properly. A 1" thick board isn't as flexible. It's not strong enough.

I still use mine and it still looks great. Although it claims to be dishwasher safe, ours always got rough after washing in the dishwasher, so we stopped. It's had a few stains since then that won't come out, but it's still working great.

We have been using ours daily for more than 10 years, all 3 sizes, only the middle layer has started to delaminate (middle layer) which is unsanitary so I just ordered new ones, there are all 3 sizes. They're beautiful and practical, we use them for every purpose and they're dishwasher safe almost every day. They wear like irons but are lightweight and easy to store. Love it!

I bought these boards in 2013 and they have perfectly survived 6 years of dishwashing. I usually hand wash, but every few months I wash it in the dishwasher (to get rid of the garlic etc smell) or after cutting raw meat or fish. I only oil after washing the dishes (not after washing my hands) and leave it on overnight. That's all. And no deformation, cracks and other things.

****** Update. While I love this cutting board as a cheese board, my wife and I quickly stopped using it as a cutting board since Cutting Board. We now use it exclusively as a cheese platter and it's great for that. **************** The cutting board is of really good quality. I think that will continue over time. So far, so good. It's a bit smaller than what I consider a full sized cutting board, so keep that in mind.

I bought these knives because bamboo is gentle on knives, doesn't hold bacteria like plastic cutting boards and the manufacturer says they are dishwasher safe. They work well, but we'll see how they hold up in the dishwasher. 4 stars because they are a little smaller than expected. I know the dimensions are listed, but the rounded shape gives a little less surface area than I expected. I will update my review if there are any splitting or hacking issues.
